Northern four piece Marsicans have just dropped their brand new single Your Eyes, their first new music in 2019. The new song arrives ahead of a massive UK headline tour with BBC’s Abbie McCarthy that will kick off in April. Listen to Your Eyes here.

Your Eyes marks the first taster of the band’s debut album which is set to arrive this summer. The single will be available on limited edition 7″ vinyl picture disc, out on March 22nd via Come Play With Me Records and is available to preorder here. The 7″ comes with the exclusive b-side Tallest Stories, with lead vocals entirely from bassist Rob Brander.

He comments on Your Eyes:

Your Eyes is a song about a particular time in my life when I felt I was being left behind by those around me. Everyone I had grown up with was making these big ‘life’ decisions and overarching plans for the future, whilst I was still treading water… I think it’s impossible not to judge ourselves by the successes of our peers.

Your Eyes follows on from a busy and successful 2018. Previous singles Suburbs, Wake Up Freya, and Pop-Ups (Sunny At The Weekend) were succeeded by a sold out headline tour and support shows with Jaws, Hippo Campus, Clean Cut Kid and Fickle Friends.

In time with the vinyl’s release, Marsicans will play two in-store shows at Leeds’ Jumbo Records (21 March) and Rough Trade Nottingham (23 March). Tickets for the the headline tour with Abbie McCarthy’s Good Karma Club, which includes stops in London, Manchester, and Glasgow among others, are on sale now. All dates and tickets can be found here.
