Fresh from supporting Foals in Hamburg this month, rising indie quartet Marsicans today release their new single Little Things through LAB Records. The new track was mixed and mastered by multi-Grammy award winning duo of Fernando Lodeiro (Paul McCartney, Vampire Weekend) and Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, Imagine Dragons). Listen below.

Bassist and vocalist Rob Brander commented on Litte Things:

Little Things is a song about the little things in life that keep you going. It began in rehearsal when James played us a frenetic guitar riff, accompanied by a lyric about being ‘lost in the bread aisle’… The lyrics were finished over a cup of tea at (drummer) Cale’s, after an enjoyable writing process which featured lists of things that made us all happy.

Little Things is the second new track to be revealed from the band’s forthcoming debut album set for release lather this year. It follows on from previous single Your Eyes which gained support from Radio 1 and Radio X and landed number 1 on the UK 7″ vinyl charts.

This summer, the band appeared at The Great Escape and Live At Leeds and have shows at Truck and Tramlines festivals scheduled for next month. They have also just announced their biggest headline show to date at Stylus in Leeds. All future tour dates and tickets can be found here.
