Foals share new album cut ‘The Runner’

Having recently announced the second part of their current album cycle, Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost (Part 2 drops on October 18th), Foals today debut new album track The Runner. The song picks up where the final songs of Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 1 left off. Listen to The Runner below.

Frontman Yannis Philippakis commented on the new track:

It’s a call to find a sense of purpose & perseverance despite the odds & despite the troubles we may find inside or outside ourselves.

Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 2 is the second installment of the band’s current album cycle. Part 1 was released in March this year to critical acclaim. Part 2 is available to pre-order on digital and limited edition physical formats from the band’s website.

2019 has been a busy year for the Oxonian quartet, who not only played sold out headline shows across the globe but also played at Glastonbury and headlined a string of festivals such as Y Not and Truck.O n September 20th, they will headline Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany.
