Former Augustines and Pela frontman William McCarthy has announced details of his third solo tour of the UK and Europe. The tour, titled “Unsheltered: Chapter and Verse”, will include not only songs from his debut solo album Shelter but also excerpts from his forthcoming book “Unsheltered”. All dates and tickets can be found below.

The tour will kick off in Dublin on April 26th and includes dates in Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds as well as his biggest headline show to date at London’s Omeara. The tour will culminate at Musik & Frieden in Berlin where Augustines played one of their first European dates back in 2012.

Having released Shelter exclusively via Pledgemusic in 2017, the album is now also available via iTunes and Google Play. The record consists mainly of cover versions of songs that have inspired McCarthy after Augustines called it quits in the fall of 2016.

Currently in the US for a run of living room shows, “Unsheltered” is McCarthy’s third solo stint. In January/February 2016, the singer-songwriter completed his first intimate solo tour with Augustines songs, new compositions as well as stories from his journals.

McCarthy also invites his fans to support his future projects – including a podcast, new music and a book – via the crowdfunding website patreon.

Tickets for the UK dates will be available as of March 21st, 9 AM GMT. EU dates will be available from 10 AM GMT+1 the same day. All dates & ticket links can be found below.
