Sundara Karma 2019 press shot

Reading four piece Sundara Karma today drop their brand new single Higher States taken from their sophomore album Ulfilas’ Alphabet (out March 1 via Chess Club/RCA). On this new track, the band combine 80s inspired synths and urgent beats. Listen below.

Frontman Oscar Pollock says of the new song:

All songs are equal, but some songs are more equal than others. This song is our equaliser, our rapid firearm. It’s invasive like a blazing probe and has more drops than Diplo.

Higher States is the fourth track to be revealed from the forthcoming new record and follows on from The Changeover, One Last Night On This Earth, and Illusions. Ulfilas’ Alphabet was produced by Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers, New Order, Pet Shop Boys) and Kaines (Alex Robertshaw from Everything Everything) and drops on March 1st.

In April, the band will head on a UK headline tour. The shows in Glasgow and Nottingham have already sold out but another Nottingham date has recently been added. Further stops include Manchester, Birmingham and London’s Brixton Academy. All dates and ticket links can be found below.
