Blondshell (Sabrina Teitelbaum) has unveiled her latest single, ‘Two Times,’ accompanied by a lyric video. This introspective track, built on a foundation of acoustic guitar and piano, offers a tender and stripped-down glimpse into Teitelbaum’s artistry, a marked departure from the anthemic ‘T&A’ released last month. ‘Two Times’ further fuels anticipation for her sophomore album, If You Asked For A Picture, which arrives May 2, 2025, via Partisan Records.
Working once again with producer Yves Rothman, Teitelbaum has crafted a project brimming with the urgency, ambition, and raw emotional power that hinted at her immense potential on Blondshell’s critically acclaimed 2023 self-titled debut. That debut, celebrated for its unflinching honesty, self-awareness, and dry wit, cemented her status as a leading voice among emerging artists.
Of the single, Teitelbaum states,
I feel like I’m always seeing movies and shows where conflict is the only way love is expressed. It’s a lot of stories where someone has to work really hard to get somebody else to love them, and that’s what seems to make the relationship valuable. This song was basically like, what if it’s just solid? What if it’s just good and the relationship’s healthy? Does that mean it is less valuable? I think that’s a painful question because it’s essentially asking how capable you are of being in a decent relationship. But it’s also a love song in that way.
Blondshell has also announced her 2025 headline tour, “If You Asked For A Tour,” in support of her upcoming sophomore album, If You Asked For A Picture. The North American leg kicks off in May and June, with multiple venue upgrades already due to high demand, including a sold-out show at Brooklyn Steel in New York. She’ll then head to the UK and Europe in September, where she’s added a second London show at Electric Brixton and upgraded venues in Dublin and Glasgow. Westside Cowboy and Frances Of Delirium will support the UK/EU dates.
