Pacific band press shot 2019Manchester band Pacific is dropping their new single Bottle This Love today. just in time for your summer party. Cuffing season might be over, but Bottle This Loveputs the piano up front and center with this top-of-your-lungs declaration of affection.

It captures the anxiety of love and the desperation to keep it exactly the way it is, even though change is inevitable. They’re asking not for just a souvenir of this love, but for the full effect of the feeling to be held forever. Who doesn’t want that?

The band is made up of brothers Anthony Orzel on vocals and piano, Daniel Orzel on synths and bass, Dave Bithell on guitars, and Drew Burns on drums. The song opens with “you are the only one/ without you I’d be undone”. But this isn’t some dark, sad song the lyrics might present (I’m all skin and bone/with whats left unknown), this is a bop, a synth dance hit, a brave pop-driven love letter asking for the possibility of forever.

Bottle This Love is available digitally as of today.
