Maxïmo Park today share their new single titled ‘The End Can Be As Good As The Start’ This single is the latest release from the band’s upcoming new album Stream Of Life, which will be available on September 27th via Lower Third.’The End Can Be As Good As The Start’ follows the album’s lead single, ‘Your Own Worst Enemy’, which focuses on the cyclical nature of making mistakes.

Last week, the band put on an unforgettable election-night performance for lucky attendees at Newcastle’s Star & Shadow cinema. They treated the audience to the first live performances of several songs from the upcoming album, while also raising a substantial amount of money for local food banks.
The track follows on from previous single, ‘Favourite Songs’, and have announced upcoming headline tour dates for Autumn in the UK and Europe. Accompanying the single, the band have also shared its visuals.
Marking the band’s return to creating music after an 18-month hiatus, ‘Favourite Songs’ is the band’s tribute to the power of pop music in providing comfort during tough times and a place to find solace with like-minded individuals. Featuring catchy riffs, shimmery synths, and an uplifting chorus, ‘Favourite Songs’ gives a sense of collective joy.
