Today, Maximo Park have shared their latest single, ‘Favourite Songs’, and have announced upcoming headline tour dates for Autumn in the UK and Europe. Accompanying the single, the band have also shared its visuals.

Marking the band’s return to creating music after an 18-month hiatus, ‘Favourite Songs’ is the band’s tribute to the power of pop music in providing comfort during tough times and a place to find solace with like-minded individuals. Featuring catchy riffs, shimmery synths, and an uplifting chorus, ‘Favourite Songs’ gives a sense of collective joy.

Vocalist, Paul Smith, states of the track:

We aimed to create a peppy yet powerful ode to the consolation of music and companionship in the face of other people’s preconceptions.
