The cryptically-named duo JOHN return with the announcement of their fourth studio album, A Life Diagrammatic, set for release September 22nd via Brace Yourself and Pets Care Records. The news of the album arrives accompanied by its lead single, coming in the form of Service Stationed.

Featuring guest vocals from Leona Farrugia of GENN, Service Stationed shows JOHN at their peak, with rising guitar lines and pounding drum beats. Of the track, John Newton (vocalist/guitarist) states:

We immediately liked the propulsion of the song in the rehearsal room, I liked to think it mirrored the driving motion of the band’s outlook. Trying to challenge ourselves by not automatically relying on repeatable tried and tested methods. I think that’s one of the reasons why we’re still a band after a decade.

Recorded by Tom Hill at The Brookhouse in South London, mixed by Seth Manchester and mastered by Frank Arkwright, A Life Diagrammatic merges the band’s powerful live presence with more varied dynamics.

Partnering with the new album’s release, JOHN are set to embark on a run of in-store shows, taking place at record stores across the UK.
