After months of anticipation, Glastonbury Festival organizers have released the first major wave of artists set to perform at Worthy Farm from June 25th to 29th. The announcement, while eagerly awaited, is just the initial glimpse, with more acts to be revealed in the coming months.

The iconic Pyramid Stage will see The 1975 kick off the festival on Friday, followed by Canadian music legend Neil Young on Saturday. Young’s appearance, now confirmed, follows earlier reports of creative disagreements with festival organizers, with Young himself citing “corporate turn-off” concerns.

Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo will close out the Pyramid Stage on Sunday. Notably, Rod Stewart is confirmed for the coveted Sunday Legends Slot, a highly anticipated performance. Adding to the excitement, Nile Rodgers inadvertently revealed that he and Chic will take the stage immediately following Stewart’s set.

The newly released lineup, a testament to the festival’s diverse musical offerings, also includes British pop powerhouse Charli XCX, critically acclaimed rapper Loyle Carner, and electronic titans The Prodigy. Indie rock band Wolf Alice’s much-anticipated comeback further fuels the buzz surrounding this year’s event.

Festival-goers can expect a weekend of unforgettable performances as Worthy Farm prepares to host another legendary Glastonbury, with more lineup announcements expected in the lead-up to the summer festival.

Glastonbury Festival 2025 is officially sold out. However, those who missed out on initial tickets will have another chance during the resale, which typically occurs in April.
