Dot To Dot Festival’s 20th anniversary expands its lineup, spotlighting over 130 local acts across Bristol (May 24th) and Nottingham (May 25th). Bristol’s additions include My First Time, Grandmas House, Mother Vulture, Clemencie, and Sober Sundays, among a total of 50+ regional artists. Nottingham’s roster features Girlband, Bloodworm, Blood Wizard, Grain Mother, Davoli, Marvin’s Revenge, Skitz, and Swallowtail, leading a charge of 80+ local performers.
These acts join previously announced headliners like The Horrors, Fat Dog, and Sprints, promising a diverse musical experience. Bristol venues span the iconic Thekla to the newer Strange Brew, while Nottingham’s include Rock City and the grassroots Old Bus Depot. Bristol highlights include the energetic post-punk pop of My First Time, the raucous punk trio Grandmas House, the riotous blues-punk of Mother Vulture, and the synth-driven sounds of Clemencie. Nottingham showcases the alt-rock of Girlband, the dark post-punk of Bloodworm, and the genre-bending experimentation of Blood Wizard.
Of the new names, Dot to Dot booker Ben Ryles states;
Supporting the local scene is a vital part of Dot To Dot Festival and we’re really excited to be shining a light on some incredible regional acts with this latest wave. Showcasing rising artists across the greatest grassroots venues is right at the heart of D2D, so supporting the local music scene is completely intertwined with that ethos. We look forward to seeing many of these artists on festival line-ups for many years to come!
The festival, already boasting record-breaking ticket sales, promises a vibrant celebration of emerging and homegrown talent. General release tickets are available from £35.
