With the release of their sophomore album For Now only a few weeks away, Aussie trio DMA’s have just revealed its title track with an animated video. For Now is an uplifting rock anthem with nods to British guitar bands such as The Stone Roses and The Charlatans. Watch & listen below.

The new track follows on from previous singles Dawning and In The Air. DMA’s new album For Now will be released on April 27th via I Oh You. The record was recorded over the last summer above a Pup in Sydney with producer Kim Moyet (The Presets) and follows on from 2016’s critically acclaimed debut Hills End.

Main songwriter Jonny Took comments on writing the new album:

Last time round, we were still working out what kind of band we want to be, and we still are. We still have that jangly rock’n’roll aspect to it, but it’s also matured in other ways. It feels like a natural progression for the band.

DMA’s where last seen as support for The Kooks on their recent UK dates. The band have just announced a run of shows across the UK and Europe to celebrate the album’s release. All dates and ticket links can be found here.

For Now will be released on CD, Ltd Edition Red LP, Cassette, digital download and streaming sites. Pre-order now from the band’s official online store.
