Aussie trio DMA’s today drop their new single In The Air which was just premiered by Triple J. The new track is an acoustic ballad about two lovers slowly drifting apart. In the accompanying video vocalist Tommy O’Dell is seen driving through a grey and dreary countryside. Watch & listen below.

New DMA’s album For Now is out this April

The new track follows on from recent single Dawning and is the second track to be lifted from their sophomore album For Now which will be released on April 27th via I Oh You. The album follows on from 2016’s critically acclaimed debut Hills End and was recorded last summer above a Pup in Sydney with Kim Moyet of The Presets taking over production duties. The artwork and tracklisting can be found below.

Songwriter and guitarist Jonny Took comments on writing For Now:

Last time round, we were still working out what kind of band we want to be, and we still are. We still have that jangly rock’n’roll aspect to it, but it’s also matured in other ways. It feels like a natural progression for the band.
