Having recently announced the new fifth album Everything Else Has Gone Wrong for January 17th release, Bombay Bicycle Club today reveal their latest single. The new track is the title track and follows on from previous single Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You). Listen below.

Everything Else Has Gone wrong was the last track the band pinned for the album. Singer/guitarist Jack Steadman comments:

It seemed to encapsulate everything the album is about. Like the album, the song is about hope and renewal, about finding safety in what brings you comfort, in what you love the most, while all around is crumbling. The irony is that the song is about not wanting to write lyrics, but it has lyrics I’m really proud of.

The video for the new single was directed by touring keyboardist Louis Bhose who has previously worked with the likes of Michael Kiwanuka & Tom Misch, The Big Moon, and Loyle Carner.

Everything Else Has Gone Wrong follows on from 2014’s number 1 album So Long, See You Tomorrow. The album is available to pre-order via all digital outlets as well as on limited edition physical formats via the official store.

After a run of sold out UK shows this November, the band have announced a massive UK tour for January / February 2020. Support for all dates comes from The Big Moon and Liz Lawrence. All dates and ticket links are available below.
