The upsurging Irish trio Adore have released their new single ‘Stay Free Old Stranger’, a track that is equally as emotionally sensitive as it is energetic.
Throughout, the trio of Lara Minchin (guitar, vocals), Lachlann Ó Fionnáin (bass, vocals) and Naoise Jordan Cavanagh (drums) explore the people who find themselves floating in and out of your life, as well as championing our inner freaks all at the same time.
Talking about their new single, vocalist Lara says,
It was written at a time of great social anxiety which was seemingly breaking into a carefree disregard for small talk and empty relationships which I had once harboured to make myself feel wanted… some people might not care for you and that’s okay because you don’t have to care for them either. You don’t have to be everybody’s friend.
The track’s release comes right before Adore join Chalk to support their three-night residency in Belfast, and also in conjunction with the announcement of their headline shows throughout the UK in May this year, with a run Southampton, Hull, and London planned.
