As another week concludes, it brings a wave of exciting new releases. Here are the IINAG team’s favourites:
Fcukers – I Like It Like That
Fcukers keep their chaotic charm alive on “I Like It Like That,” a blistering follow-up to last year’s breakout Baggy$$ EP. Now signed to UK indie powerhouse Ninja Tune, the duo sound sharper and more confident than ever. Produced by Kenneth Blume, the track fuses swaggering rhythm, snarling vocals, and punchy guitars into a noise both feral and addictive, a reminder that Fcukers aren’t just here for the hype, they’re here to dominate it. – Katie Macbeth
Joyce Manor – Well, Whatever It Was
Pop punk cult icons and kings of writing emo classics under 120 seconds long, Joyce Manor continue their album rollout in style with ‘Well, Whatever It Was’. The bona fide Californian legends have stuffed hours of magic into two minutes again. This new cut has all the charm of a Joyce Manor track, all whilst seeping with nostalgia of the pop punk bands of the late nineties and early noughties that the band’s sound was built upon. In just two minutes, Barry Johnson and co transport the listener back to 2002, and everything is fine and dandy again. Signature JM guitars, a steady drum beat and Johnson’s classic wit all combine for a modern pop-punk classic with just enough nostalgia to sound like the here and now. It’s a Joyce Manor track. It sounds like a Joyce Manor track. And it sounds sublime. – Tyler Wright
Yukimi – All Over Me
Yukimi Nagano, known mononymously as Yukimi and best recognised as Little Dragon’s lead vocalist, has released “All Over Me,” the second single from the upcoming EP Yume. The track is steeped in emotion and romance, blending a soulful melody with Yukimi’s unmistakable vocals. Her voice takes centre stage as she sings, “Boy, you bring the feeling that I just can’t describe,” reflecting the song’s gentle, heartfelt theme. With its dreamy atmosphere and intimate lyrics, “All Over Me” offers a compelling glimpse into what Yume has in store. – Henry Dunn
Opus Kink – I’m A Pretty Showboy
Opus Kink return in full flamboyant force with “I’m A Pretty Showboy,” a swaggering, chaotic spectacle of a single that struts between menace and mischief. Driven by a feral bassline and trumpet blasts that flirt with delirium, the track feels like a fever dream staged in a smoky cabaret. Equal parts punk, jazz, and theatre, it’s gloriously unhinged yet perfectly composed, the kind of song that makes a mess on purpose and looks dazzling doing it. Opus Kink have never sounded more alive. – Lauren Moreton
Bleech 9:3 – Ceiling
Bleech 9:3 make a striking first impression with “The Ceiling,” a debut steeped in the grit and gravity of ‘90s alt-grunge. The track builds from smouldering tension into a storm of distortion and despair, pairing raw emotion with a fixation on emptiness and escape. Its sound feels suspended between worlds, heavy yet weightless, fierce yet fragile, as if chasing meaning through the fog. Bleech 9:3 capture that rare energy of a band both lost in thought and ready to detonate. – James Robertson
