Madness Confirm ‘Hit Parade’ Anthology Ahead of Arena Tour

Madness, the beloved “Nutty Boys of Camden,” have announced “Hit Parade,” a definitive new collection celebrating their four-decade legacy. The band, which has become a British institution thanks to 15 UK Top 10 singles, including global smashes like “Our House” and the chart-topping “House of Fun”, will release the anthology on November 21st via West Village Music Management. This monumental collection spans 45 singles from their 45-year history, starting in 1979 and running through 2024, and captures every era of their story.

Of the album, Madness state,

From the early days to the latest tracks… we’ve packed up the lot and brought them all together in ‘Hit Parade’. It’s a proper nutty collection of our biggest and best. Press play, turn it up, and enjoy the ride

The band is offering fans an extensive range of special formats, making “Hit Parade” a must-have for both casual listeners and dedicated collectors. Options include a 45-track 2CD set, two separate 2LP vinyl volumes organised by era, and a deluxe 4LP box set with an exclusive bonus 7-inch single. Crucially, the collection includes a treasure trove of rarities and first-time appearances, such as unique mixes and edits of later-era tracks like “Drip Fed Fred” and “Mr. Apples,” with several songs making their debut appearance on CD or vinyl.

This career-spanning release precedes the band’s already announced ‘Hit Parade’ UK arena tour this December. The band is set to kick off their 13-date run on December 4th at the Sheffield Utilita Arena, culminating in a special hometown show at London’s The O2 on Saturday, December 20th, with Squeeze as very special guests.
