Mutations Festival is set to return to Brighton for its seventh edition on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th, 2025. The festival, which takes place across nine of the city’s cherished music venues, has announced its most ambitious and cohesive lineup yet, featuring an exciting mix of established and up-and-coming international artists. This year’s headliners are two of the UK’s most dynamic live acts: seminal South London post-punk quartet Dry Cleaning on Friday and Brighton’s own Lambrini Girls, who will headline Saturday night following a meteoric rise that has seen their chaotic punk rock sound dominate main stages around the world.
Known for consistently showcasing rising stars, the 2025 edition of Mutations is no exception. The festival has a history of predicting the next big thing, having featured acts like The Last Dinner Party and Yard Act in previous years. This year’s lineup includes a variety of urgent, boundary-pushing artists from across the globe, such as poetic post-punks Big Special, noise-rock powerhouse Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, critically acclaimed shoegazers Bdrmm, and alt-country breakout act Divorce. More than 75 other genre-defying artists are also confirmed to perform.
Founded in 2015, the proudly independent Mutations Festival has forged its own path in a congested UK festival market. The event has become renowned for creating a melting pot of forward-thinking artists, ensuring that its curated selection is a reflection of the most exciting and vital sounds of the moment. With a lineup that balances established headliners with promising new talent, Mutations Festival 2025 is shaping up to be a true highlight of the autumn music calendar.
