Post punk rockers White Lies have just announced their new album Five will be released on February 1st 2019 via PIAS. The trio have also shared the album’s first single and album opener Time To Give, a seven minute epic recording. Listen here.
Five is the band’s fifth full length and follows on from 2016’s Friends. It was written and recorded on both sides of the Atlantic with Ed Buller who also produced the band’s previous records To Lose My Life and Big TV.
The band comment on the new album:
This is a mile stone record for White Lies. It marks our decade as a band, which has pushed us to expand our sound and reach new territory artistically – it marks the start of a new and exciting chapter for us.
To celebrate the album’s release, the trio will embark on a massive UK and European headline tour in the beginning of 2019.
