Tom A. Smith Announces Major Spring 2026 UK Headline Tour Following Acclaimed EP

Tipped as a major artist to watch for 2026, rising Sunderland talent Tom A. Smith has announced an extensive run of UK headline shows, promising to bring his explosive live energy on the road next spring. The 12-date tour is set to launch at Glasgow’s iconic King Tut’s on March 26th and includes stops in major cities like Manchester, Leeds, and London, culminating with a local showcase at Newcastle’s The Cluny. Tickets for the tour will officially go on sale Monday, December 15th, at 10 am, with high demand anticipated.

The tour announcement arrives on the heels of the release of Smith’s celebrated new EP, Say What You Want, released via Fiction Records. The collection is characterised as a bold coming-of-age statement, successfully blending textured electronics, raw emotion, and razor-sharp songwriting. Tracks like “Fashion” have garnered significant radio airplay, while fan favourite “I Don’t Blame You” underscores a synth-leaning evolution in his sound, allowing the 21-year-old artist to confidently carve his own lane in the competitive UK indie scene. Fresh off a national support tour with The Lottery Winners, Smith is stepping into 2026 with considerable momentum.

Despite his youth, Tom A. Smith already boasts a formidable resume, having played major slots at festivals including Glastonbury and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. He has also been personally selected to support acts ranging from Catfish and the Bottlemen and Sam Fender to global icon Elton John, who hand-picked the singer for his Hyde Park Farewell Yellow Brick Road show. Raised in Houghton-le-Spring, Smith’s grassroots beginnings and relentless DIY passion, including building his own home studio during lockdown, have positioned him as an authentic voice for his generation. Now signed to Fiction Records, this tour marks a new chapter where he embraces the spotlight with renewed creative purpose.
