Newcastle trio The Pale White return with a surprise release of their huge new single Polaroid. The track follows on from a sold out UK tour in the autumn of last year and is the first track to be released from the band’s forthcoming debut album, out later this year. Listen below.

The band comment on the new single:

It’s the start of a new decade, but ‘Polaroid’ talks about the past. It’s a melancholy blast about freezing a specific moment in time and living in it forever. Ironically, Its quite the opposite of how we’re feeling as a band. We’re feeling stronger than ever and ready to take on the 20s.

The Pale White consist of brothers Adam (Lead Vocals, Guitar) and Jack Hope (Drums), as well as long time friend Tom Booth (Bass). Having released numerous singles and two EPs over the past years, they have opened for the likes of The Amazons, Sam Fender, Foals, Twin Atlantic, The Libertines and Band of Skulls and played Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds.

This summer, the band will appear at 110 Above, Life At Leeds and Neighborhood Weekender among others. Tickets are available here, all dates are available below this post.
