The Last Dinner Party have announced a huge headline tour spanning 35 dates across the globe from this autumn into next spring. The run will kick off with a UK and Ireland leg that begins at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 14th before concluding with two nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton in December. The band will then head to Australia in January, followed by a series of European shows in February and March. Tickets for all dates go on general sale this Friday, September 12th, at 10 am.
The tour will be in support of the band’s highly anticipated second album, From The Pyre, which is set for release on October 17th. The London five-piece went into the studio earlier this year to record the follow-up to their number 1 debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy. According to the band, the new record is a “collection of stories” and “a little darker, more raw and more earthy” than its predecessor, reflecting their growing confidence as a live unit.
With two BRIT Awards already to their name, The Last Dinner Party have become one of the most thrilling new British bands in decades. They have sold out virtually every show they’ve played since their debut, cementing a reputation for exhilarating live performances. This new tour is the next chapter in an unparalleled success story that shows no signs of slowing down.
