Sundara Karma return with new single & EP ‘Kill Me’

Sundara Karma release surprise new single

Premiered on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show, Reading’s Sundara Karma return with their brand new single Kill Me. The song is their first new music since the release of their sophomore album Ulfilas’ Alphabet last year. The track comes with a video directed by Hannah Diamond. Watch and listen below.

The track is part of the EP of the same name, released on November 24th. It was co-produced by frontman Oscar Pollock and Clarence Clarity, who has worked with Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama among others. Kill Me was recorded during the lockdown so that Oscar and Clarence were sending their mixes back and forth.

  2. O Stranger
  3. YOUR TOUCH
  4. Artifice
  5. Lifelines

In the accompanying video, Oscar is seen exploring a dream space that intertwines his realities. He comments on the track:

Right now, I feel like I’m able to be the most personal I’ve ever been in my songwriting and ‘Kill Me’ is definitely a reflection of this. Lyrically it draws upon actual events that happened to me throughout the last year and it was cathartic to be able to condense all of that into a track.

Visual collaborator Hannah Diamond adds:

It’s very special to have a collaboration where you can make images for another artist that feels as personal and creatively fulfilling as the work you make for yourself. It feels really good to be able to help another artist have the creative freedom I have. We are challenging each other to make our best work and I think we really are!

The Kill Me EP s available to stream and download now. We’re beyond excited to hear what else Sundara Karma have in store for us this year.
