San Vito Unveils Gothic Coldwave Ritual With New Single “Cold Teeth”

San Vito has returned with “Cold Teeth,” a nocturnal rock ’n’ roll ritual that explores the thin line between desire and detachment. Produced by Kristian Bell of The Wytches at The Hit Dungeon, the track marks a colder, more deliberate chapter for the London and Cork-raised musician. Drawing from post-punk minimalism and a “black drip blues” aesthetic, the song avoids easy catharsis, opting instead for a restrained, melancholic groove that mirrors the isolation of the late night. Visually and sonically, the release captures a sense of spectacle without expression, offering an intimacy that feels closer to sorrow than warmth.

The arrangement features Simon Hedges on bass and Charlie Hughes on drums, providing a foundation for vocals that carry a passionate bite. San Vito uses this project to translate punk into an emotional language, stripped of unnecessary noise and rebuilt as pure atmosphere. It is music designed for rooms that never fully sleep, where discomfort is allowed to linger rather than find a quick resolution.

San Vito describes the personal weight of the track:

“when listening to Cold Teeth, I see the side of me that tends to feel like they’re never part of anything. Cold Teeth is a cocktail of isolation, resentment and realising that life isn’t fair. Sad I know, but I cherish this song.”
