Irish four-piece noise-punk band, Naked Lungs, today share their latest single, Relentless. The single follows on from the announcement of their much-anticipated debut album, Doomscroll, set for release August 18th.

Featuring an industrial rhythm section that propels the track forward, Relentless features fevered vocals from frontman Tom that quickly move between being gently spoken to unleashed screaming.

Speaking of the track, the band state:

Relentless is us incorporating aspects from horror film soundtracks into a noise rock track – especially the steady build-up leading to a sharp release of tension – almost like a jumpscare. Nasty noise, dirty drums and some above the pickup-fretting-fuckery help it all come in a not-so-nice package.

In addition to the single, the band have also announced details of their first headline tour, set to take place this September, finishing at The Shacklewell Arms in London. The tour announcement follows on from a string of sold-out Dublin shows, and a successful festival run which saw Naked Lungs play to a packed-out morning showcase at The Great Escape earlier this year, as well as performances at the likes of Mutations Festival, Otherside Festival and more.
