South Wales musician and lyricist Jack Jones shares his latest single, ‘Who Let The Bass Pump Through The Floor’, the second track to be lifted from Jones’ highly-anticipated, self-titled, debut album, which is set for release September 20th via Strap Originals. The release follows the success of the lead single, ‘Breathe’, which has received extensive radio play on BBC Radio 6 Music and was even featured in the BBC’s coverage of the Euros.

Of ‘Who Let The Bass Pump Through The Floor’, Jack states:

When we first started drinking as young kids, we couldn’t get into pubs or anything, so we used to always have house parties… It was just an excuse to find someone’s flat and destroy it. The song’s the idea of people arriving from the street, and coming in, each with their own back-story. It’s a bit of a banger!

The music video for Who Let The Bass Pump Through The Floor was filmed during the Glastonbury weekend by Barnaby Fairley, who was also the director for the previous single Breathe. Jack had three performances at Glastonbury, twice as a solo artist and once with his band Trampolene. Surprisingly, he didn’t run into either Dave Grohl or Tom Cruise.

Jack’s seld-titled album will be available on vinyl in multiple colour formats, CD and digital download and was co-written, produced and mixed by Adam French. Accompanying the release will be Jack Jones’s new book ‘Tour Diaries’ Volume 1 featuring Jack’s time with Trampolene, The Libertines and Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres.
