Dublin post-punk heavyweights Gurriers have unleashed their unrelenting new single, “Party Lines,” marking the second preview of their highly anticipated sophomore studio album, Nobody’s Coming To Save You. Slated for release on September 25th, 2026, the upcoming record marks the band’s official debut on their new label home, Play It Again Sam. Co-produced by IDLES’ Mark Bowen and Loren Humphrey, the album aims to build on the fierce momentum generated by its acclaimed title track, which recently secured a coveted spot on the BBC Radio 6 Music A-List and a standout KEXP live session.
Delivering a potent dose of primal dance-punk hedonism, “Party Lines” channels widespread social frustration and critiques modern political leadership. Written as the band watched the harrowing escalation of the war in Sudan, the track targets the hypocrisy of global leaders who broker weapons and wage war on the same nations to which they provide humanitarian aid. Musically, Gurriers translate this raw fury into an unforgettable sonic assault, pairing high-energy, distorted guitar arrangements with an unforgiving, propulsive rhythm section and a razor-sharp melodic hook.
The single arrives during a massive upward trajectory for the Dublin five-piece, who have spent the last two years graduating from sweat-soaked clubs to main stages and arena slots, most recently performing as special guests for Kneecap at London’s Crystal Palace Park. Following a packed summer festival itinerary, Gurriers will embark on an extensive UK and European headline tour this autumn. The highly anticipated run includes a landmark London show at Electric Brixton on October 24th and two major hometown performances at Dublin’s Vicar Street and the 3Olympia Theatre, featuring an elite rotating support cast of Enola Gay, Tramhaus, Really Good Time, and Child Of Prague.
