Dublin’s For Nina Unleash Powerful New Single “Hounds.”

For Nina, a burgeoning three-piece band hailing from Dublin, are quickly establishing themselves as one of Ireland’s most exciting emerging acts, with their latest single, “Hounds,” potentially marking their most impactful release to date.

Following a year of significant momentum, which included a packed debut performance at the iconic Whelan’s venue and a subsequent sold-out headline show at Dublin’s Workman’s Club, “Hounds” sees For Nina confidently stride into their next phase. The track effectively blends driving guitar riffs with intense drumming, culminating in a chorus that encapsulates the raw uncertainty often experienced in one’s twenties.

Of the track, the band state,

The track came out of nothing really. We were just jamming out over the main riff and then everything seemed to click and within half-an-hour we had the song. We wrote the chorus in a way that hopefully highlights the uncertain chaos of being ‘twenty-something. We were in a tricky place with our college course at the time and the feelings manifested themselves within the song. At least those feelings led to something good!

Formed in 2023 after the members connected in college, For Nina swiftly bonded over a shared passion for alternative rock and a desire to fuse contrasting musical concepts. Within a remarkably short timeframe, they began generating considerable buzz, highlighted by a showcase performance at the 2024 edition of Ireland Music Week, coinciding with their first anniversary as a band. With the release of “Hounds,” For Nina are solidifying their position as a band delivering music with both visceral energy and genuine emotional depth.
