Blossoms, Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan, and Myles Kellock have today announced their sixth studio album, Songs From The Wedding Cake, arriving on October 2nd via ODD SK / Distiller Records. To celebrate the announcement, the band has dropped their brand-new, disco-flecked single “Meet Me In Love,” featuring backing vocals from Declan McKenna, alongside a star-studded music video featuring Maya Jama and Callum Scott-Howells. In tandem with the record, Blossoms have unveiled the biggest UK arena headline tour of their career for November and December 2026, featuring support from rising Wrexham outfit The Royston Club.

The upcoming album takes its title from the local Stockport nickname for the town’s iconic Victorian town hall, where frontman Tom Ogden was married. Recorded live to tape at Tilehouse Studios with international producer Shawn Lee (Young Gun Silver Fox), Songs From The Wedding Cake aims to filter ordinary life milestones through an extraordinary musical lens. Ten years on from their Mercury Prize-nominated debut, the 5-piece describes the record as their most expansive and personal body of work yet, crafting an irresistible cocktail of 80s-flecked funk, dance-floor indie bangers, and heart-on-your-sleeve anthems.

New single “Meet Me In Love” leans heavily into a glittering, two-chord disco groove, contrasting the humorous domestic friction of their previous single “Joke About Divorce” to deliver an unapologetic celebration of romance. Of the single, Tom shares,

‘Meet Me In Love’ was written on a songwriting trip to the Lake District with Natalie Findlay and Jules Apollinaire. As often happens, it was the last day and we’d pretty much accepted that there probably weren’t any more songs left to write. We started messing around with a simple two chord disco groove and, within a couple of hours, the whole thing seemed to fall into place. It’s one of those songs that felt exciting from the moment it arrived. I remember driving home from the Lakes listening to the demo on repeat for most of the journey. We later finished the recording with Shawn Lee at Tilehouse Studios, tracking live to tape, but a lot of what made us fall in love with the song in the first place came from that original demo, so plenty of those parts survived onto the final record.

The announcement sets the stage for a massive arena run this winter, hitting major landmarks including London’s Alexandra Palace and Manchester’s Co-op Live. Fans who pre-order the album via the band’s official store can access a special pre-sale starting at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, June 24th, ahead of the general public sale on Friday, June 26th.
