Rising London four-piece Alphabet have officially announced the release of their expansive new single, “Sense.” Co-produced by the band alongside the acclaimed Luke Farnall—noted for his previous production work with Loyle Carner, Ezra Collective, and PinkPantheress—the new track arrives hot on the heels of their recent well-received single “Pressure” and a busy string of summer tour dates. It marks a confident step forward for the band as they look to build upon a wave of early momentum.

Despite having only a handful of official studio singles to their name, Alphabet have already racked up over 200,000 streams and cultivated an enviable reputation across the UK live music circuit. Over the past year, the group has commanded attention with highly praised appearances at major events including Truck Festival, Green Man, Liverpool Sound City, and Brighton Psych Fest, alongside early-year showcases for tastemakers DIY and Dork. Their live trajectory has been further cemented by a sold-out debut headline show at London’s Sebright Arms, as well as high-profile support slots alongside underground indie mainstays like Ulrika Spacek, TRAAMS, and Slow Fiction.

Sonically, “Sense” successfully bottles the driving, unpredictable energy that defines the band’s exhilarating live reputation. The single balances dreamlike, ethereal atmospheres with sharp, abrasive melodic guitar work and propulsive drum rhythms. This serves as a striking backdrop for the dual vocal performances of guitarist Milo McNulty and bassist Lena Pilshofer, whose harmonies seamlessly shift between tranquil calm and urgent euphoria. The single stands as the official starting point for Alphabet’s next musical chapter, with additional material and live tour dates expected to be announced soon.
