Violet Youth are a four piece from Blackbourn set to release their new Primary Nature EP on the 8th of September. Today the band reveal a new video for their recent single She Said. Watch below.
The video was filmed in iconic Liverpool venue The Zanzibar, features disjointed cutaways and low-lighting to suit the over-arching theme of the debut EP. As the video cuts away, you see lead-singer Owen’s girlfriend Keely (of Pax and The Scarletfield) singing the lyrics into the camera.
The Primary Nature EP was recorded in Liverpool with the Sugar House producers who have recently worked with the likes of Pale Waves and Stillia. The follow up to the recent single Reliable Sources, the new EP features four new tracks including the lead single She Said.
Violet Youth formed last year and have so far released two singles. Quickly attracting the attention of critics and public alike, they gained support BBC Introducing and many others.
Earlier this year they set off to China to play festival shows in Beijing, Shanghai and Kunming, appeared at Liverpool’s Sound City and joined The View’s for dates on the band’s recent UK Tour.
