The Lemon Twigs return with their latest single, Corner Of My Eye, the band’s first release since the band’s 2020 album, Songs For The General Public. The 60s-tainted rock track becomes the band’s first release through the esteemed Brooklyn-based label, Captured Tracks.
Marking The Lemon Twigs’ first release in 2 years, Corner Of My Eye is a tender, guitar-led piece which serves itself as an ode to a new love interest, produced and written entirely by The Lemon Twigs.
Of the track, The Lemon Twigs state:
We recorded this track in winter of 2021 in our old rehearsal studio in Midtown, NYC. Apart from the vibraphone, the instrumental track was recorded live with Andres Valbuena on drums and Daryl Johns on upright bass. We laid down the vocals late that night once the traffic outside had died down. We’ve had the song for a while now, so we’re excited to share it with fans who may have heard it live over the years!’
The single arrives hand-in-hand with its accompanying music video, directed by Hilla Eden and Brian D’Addario.
