Guildford duo Son of Cabe have just released an alternate version of their most recent collaboration single Lost. The original track, which FIKL and Noseph, has amassed over 100k streams on Spotify Check it out below.

With the addition of live drums and their signature incorporation of 80s synths, the new version of Lost is more within Son of Cabe’s usual sound. A change of relationship with anxiety is the theme of the song, and learning it is not something to fight, but something to embrace.

Speaking of the track lead singer Conor comments:

Jack and I love the original track, but felt that in a live scenario it didn’t sonically align with our style and where our sound is going. We first started making
this version as a live show arrangement but when it was done, we liked it too much not to release it.

Son of Cabe was started out as a solo project by songwriter/producer Conor McCabe but is now completed by drummer and co-producer Jack Holland whom he met at university.
