Snooper has unveiled “Pom Pom,” the third single from their new album, Worldwide, which is set to arrive on October 3rd via Third Man Records. The track gleefully embraces the spirited, hook-filled vocals that have become a hallmark of the band. Following their “cathartic mosh anthem,” “Guard Dog,” the new song fully owns the “cheerleader vocals” that have been both a compliment and a good-natured dig against the band.

Of the track, vocalist Blair Tramel states,

‘Pom Pom’ is about being your own cheerleader, a topic that is explored throughout the whole record. It’s about having to sit on the sidelines sometimes, supporting others, taking hits, and bouncing back. After cheering for other people for long enough, you reach a point where you learn to cheer for yourself as well. While self confidence is important, you also have to be able to laugh at yourself. Honestly, if you can’t laugh at yourself, you might have some work to do — GO TEAM!!!!

Over the past few years, Snooper, founded by guitarist Connor Cummins and Tramel, has skyrocketed from DIY scene stalwarts to international underground adoration. The project evolved well beyond anything they could have imagined and at a pace that was as disorienting as it was exhilarating. Their new album, Worldwide, documents this rapid evolution, showcasing a bolder, catchier, and more confident side of the Nashville-based quartet.

As they prepare for the release, Snooper is currently on the road supporting The Hives on their North American tour. After a hometown album release show in Nashville, the band will continue supporting The Hives on a European tour.
