Today, Silica Gel release “Molecular Gastronomy”, the lead single from their third full-length album Ballad of You, released 20th August.
The new single continues a trend of experimentation that has carried Silica Gel beyond the hard, metallic sound long associated with the band. Following “南宮FEFERE” and “BIG VOID”, “Molecular Gastronomy” follows a bouncing rhythm followed by a playful chorus and driving guitar riff.

Following the release of “Molecular Gastronomy”, Silica Gel will take the stage at Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival on August 2 before launching their first-ever Asia tour with a two-night run at Seoul’s KSPO DOME beginning on the 26th of September.
