London-based band Pynch has announced their new album, Beautiful Noise, set for release on October 3rd via their own label, Chillburn Recordings, in partnership with State51 Conspiracy. The DIY four-piece, known for their tenacious approach, wistful lo-fi sound, and life-affirming lyricism, are sharing the new single, “Post-Punk/New-Wave,” as a prime example of their style.

This announcement follows their acclaimed debut, Howling at a Concrete Moon, a coming-of-age record that resonated with youth navigating austerity-era Britain. That album garnered significant support from publications like The Guardian, The Line Of Best Fit, CLASH, and NME, and received extensive airplay across BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, KEXP, and more.

With Beautiful Noise, Pynch’s focus shifts inward. Less concerned with interpreting the external world, their second full-length album embarks on a journey through themes of love, death, faith, and the search for meaning through art.

Of the single, the bands guitarist/vocalist, Spencer Enock, explains,

We wanted to announce Beautiful Noise with Post-Punk / New-Wave because it captures the playful spirit of the record and in a way tells the story of the band through its lyrics. It’s an ironic but sincere take on making DIY music in the modern world and I love that it feels like a pop song without really having a chorus – like a slacker rock Band on the Run

Pynch have supported The Libertines, Squid, English Teacher, PVA, Andy Bell, LYNKS, Spector and more, plus have sold-out shows in the likes of London, Liverpool, Brighton, Paris, Angers, and Rotterdam.
