Ona Mafalda is back with a bold musical statement, leading up to her highly anticipated album Reset. The Spanish-British artist showcases her fearless reinvention through two standout singles, “Harta” and “Broken Games,” each highlighting a different side of her dynamic sound. Blending indie-rock energy with shimmering pop sensibilities, both tracks demonstrate Ona’s signature bilingual approach and her talent for turning personal experience into universal anthems.

“Harta” bursts with raw emotion and a rock-driven edge. Speaking on the track, Ona explains,

“Harta is my way of releasing everything I’ve been holding in. In Spanish, Harta means ‘fed up,’ and that’s exactly what this song is about, reaching that point where you’re done with the noise, the drama, and the expectations, and you decide to leave it all behind. It’s an upbeat track with a rock edge that captures that explosive mix of frustration and liberation. Harta is a reminder that sometimes walking away isn’t giving up, it’s taking your power back.”

In contrast, “Broken Games” is playful, light-hearted, and mischievous. Ona says,

“The song is about the unspoken, unserious side of love. Those moments when not every relationship has to be deep or forever, and sometimes you just want to have fun and live in the moment. It’s flirty, light-hearted, and a little mischievous, a reminder that women can own their desires and set their own rules without apology.”

Both singles serve as a perfect introduction to Reset, an album recorded in London with Mac Wetha, Dan Holloway, Sour Sync, and Khotton, that explores courage, renewal, and reinvention. The songs also provide a glimpse into the album’s bilingual, borderless identity, blending sparkling indie-pop melodies with driving guitar riffs and personal storytelling.

Ona Mafalda will bring these new tracks to life live when she headlines The Victoria Dalston in London on 19th November, marking a triumphant step in her evolving career and a new chapter of artistic exploration.
