Ella Eyre Releases ‘hell yeah’ Ahead of New Album Release

Ella Eyre has premiered her powerful and bold new single, “hell yeah,” which serves as a major preview for her highly anticipated second studio album, everything, in time. The new record is slated for release on November 21st via Play It Again Sam, marking a significant milestone in the singer’s career. The track itself was originally conceived during a challenging period with her previous record label.

“hell yeah” finds Eyre embracing a familiar, defiant swagger within a retro soul-tinged production. The track builds around the central emotional conflict between logic and passion, boasting what is arguably one of her most commanding and memorable choruses to date. The single follows a successful string of recent releases from the project, including the breakup anthem “space,” the silky soul-pop track “domino szn,” and the elegant, mature “kintsugi.”

Of the single, Ella describes,

‘hell yeah’ has been a fan-favourite for a while and I’m SO happy it’s finally time to share it, It’s an upbeat, fun depiction of a wilder time in my early twenties when leading with my head and not my heart was a humorous battle. We’ve all been there when we can’t resist something, and this song is a punchy reminder to not let our occasional questionable choices weigh us down. I can’t wait to sing this one loud with the crowd on my tour in December.

To celebrate the upcoming album, Eyre has also announced four intimate, candlelit performances scheduled for December. These special shows will see her perform in stunning venues across the UK, including dates in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Liverpool, offering fans a unique and close-up experience with her new material.
