The album’s creation followed a period of profound change for Eyre, including vocal surgery during lockdown that forced her to relearn how to speak. Emerging with a clearer sense of self, she parted ways with her former label, reclaimed her masters, and started anew. everything, in time is the powerful result, with Eyre recalling a pivotal moment where she decided to “scrap it all” from an earlier version.
