Ella Eyre Announces Long-Awaited Second Album ‘everything, in time,’ Shares New Single

After years of navigating industry constraints, Ella Eyre, one of the UK’s most talented and distinctive voices, makes a significant return today. She announces her long-anticipated second studio album, everything, in time, slated for release on November 21st via Play It Again Sam. Accompanying this exciting news is her new single, “space.”

A decade since her Top 4 debut, Feline, and numerous high-octane collaborations, Ella finally unveils a body of work that is as unfiltered, fearless, and fully-formed as she is. This self-curated collection of 15 songs sees the London-born powerhouse embrace a sound deeply rooted in rich soul, bold R&B, retro funk, and raw emotional truth. The album’s creation followed a period of profound change for Eyre, including vocal surgery during lockdown that forced her to relearn how to speak. Emerging with a clearer sense of self, she parted ways with her former label, reclaimed her masters, and started anew. everything, in time is the powerful result, with Eyre recalling a pivotal moment where she decided to “scrap it all” from an earlier version. The album announcement builds on the success of recent superb releases like “high on the internet” (ft. Jay Prince), “domino szn,” and the elegant “kintsugi.” Signed at 17, Eyre’s early career was a whirlwind of hits, often overshadowing her personal vision. Now 31, she has not only reclaimed her narrative but decisively reshaped her future.

Of the album announcement, Eyre states,

There’s been a lot of stop-start with my career. It keeps me up at night. But this album feels like something I’m really proud of. And the biggest cliches are sometimes the deepest truths: Good things come to those who wait. And even though it’s taken a long time to get to this place, I’m really proud of where I’m at.”
