Liverpool-based band STONE have released their first new music in a year with the single “NEVER AGAIN.” The track marks a powerful and unfiltered return to the band’s core identity: honest, raw, and completely autonomous.
Embracing a sharper, more unpolished sound, “NEVER AGAIN” channels the raw textures of punk and hardcore to explore themes of recovery and redemption. Recorded live, the single invokes the raw spirit of their early days, with frontman Fin Power’s newfound sobriety and a deliberate focus on creative control driving this bold new chapter. The band is back, unshackled and ready to swing harder than ever before.

NEVER AGAIN’ is a return to STONE’s loudest and rawest best. The track is a reaction to having had some of our control taken away for a chance of radio or viral success. Sonically ‘NEVER AGAIN’ is lightning in a bottle. Tracked live it captures the band’s aggressive energy, exploding into its choruses before hitting even harder as the song ends. Lyrically the track highlights the emotional journey of turning to sobriety whilst dealing with the fallout of our major label experience. The anger of feeling like a scratchcard for the previous label and the feeling of pride that succumbs under the anger drove the writing of the lyrics.
STONE is setting its sights on a real-world connection. The band are prioritising authentic, in-person experiences over online trends, with a renewed focus on the mosh pit. Their new sound, which channels rage, sadness, and euphoria, is a form of punk that turns its back on virality and looks directly to the crowd.
