Whitecliff share new video + UK tour / The Rifles EU support

Whitecliff-Header-1024x682Liverpudlian four piece Whitecliff share the video for new single Five Minutes which will be released on April 8th. The single’s release will be accompanied by a 13-date UK headline tour as well as opening for The Rifles on the EU leg of their tour.

2015 saw Whitecliff become the first signing to The Libertines’ Gary Powell’s label 25 Hour Convenience Store. Their debut single Everybody Knows was released to critical acclaim and followed up in October with the Young Lovers EP.

Whitecliff met while studying at Paul McCartney’s internationally renowned institute for performing arts (LIPA) whose luminaries include The Wombats, Sandi Thom and more recently Dan Croll. They name The 1975, The Strokes, and Arctic Monkeys as some of their influences which I can definitely hear.

They sure taught these kids how to write a tune at LIPA. Five Minutes builds up to a catchy pop rock chorus with rattling drums and distorted guitars.
