Brighton psychedelic quintet White Room have recently released Cable-Built Dreamland, the first track from their 3rd AA-release taken from their forthcoming double EP Eight out via Deltasonic Records (The Coral, The Zutons, Miles Kane) later this year.

Recent signees to the legendary Liverpool label, White Room’s nod to 60s psychedelic rock alongside more contemporary influences (Pond, Temples, Cage The Elephant) is evident throughout the new track.

Frontman Jake Smallwood comments on Cable-Built Dreamland:

It’s about people’s narcissistic obsession with how they are perceived online; the mask they create behind which they disguise their true selves. It’s a group of friends sat round a table, all with phone in hand, silent.

Following a handful of shows with The Vryll Society, White Room will be heading out on their debut headline UK tour this November, showcasing the record in its entirety, including new material unreleased at the time of tour.

Cable-Built Dreamland is out now via Deltasonic Records and available on all platforms.
