Vuromantics release new EP + single ‘In The Night’

Vuromantics are a quintet from Sheffield with an obvious love for the 80s. The band is set to release their new In The Night EP on October 20th via Alya Records. The lead single of the same name is available to stream as of now. Listen below.

Starting with 20 tracks to chose from, the band condensed this catalogue of songs into a five-track capsule that spans influences from Pulp, to Future Islands, to Client Liaison. The EP was recorded at Junior Park Studios in their hometown, Sheffield.

Although brothers Sam (vocals) and Jake (guitar, keyboard) initially intended to team up and write songs for the sole purpose of synchronisation in TV and film, they quickly realised the desire to play live couldn’t be ignored. Their have since toured since March this year from the north to the south of the UK, Scotland and Wales – all before playing in their hometown.

Vuromantics will head out on a UK tour this fall. Dates can be found below. In The Night is out on October 20th on CD and digitally.
