Psychedelic rockers The Vryll Society have announced the release of their brand new single La Jetee. The track, a speedy excursion of psychedelia, esoteric sounds and pop aesthetics was inspired by Chris Marker’s sci-fi movie of the same name, a 1962 black and white post-apocalyptic vision of Paris.
La Jetee arrives right in time for The Vryll Society’s UK headline tour which starts next week. The band have only just recently supported Blossoms on their sold out UK tour. Tour dates can be found below.
The Liverpool band’s sound has lead to comparisons with Spacemen 3, The Horrors, The Verve and The Stone Roses and gained them a contract with Deltasonic Records (The Coral, The Rascals).
