The Van T’s drop new single ‘Control’

Supporting Foo Fighters in Glasgow

The Van T's press shot 2019Glaswegian four piece The Van T’s today release their brand new single Control via via Big Indie Records. Listen below. The band have also announced they will be supporting rock legends Foo Fighters in Glasgow this August.

Fronted by twin sisters Hannah and Chloe Van Thompson’s (guitar, vocals), the band fuse grunge with elements of surf-rock and psychedelia to create their own unique sound. The quartet is completed by Joanne Forbes (bass) and Shaun Hood (drums).

Initially formed in 2013, they have received support from BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, BBC Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway and Radio X’s John Kennedy among others. Having supported Wolf Alice, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Sunflower Bean and Clean Cut Kid, The Van T’s have been confirmed as support for Foo Fighters’ show at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on 17th August 2019.

On May 8th, the band will appear at London’s Two Tribes Brewery in association with Big Indie Big Nights. Tickets for this show are free of charge and can be found here. They will also appear at this year’s The Great Escape in Brighton.
