Following on from a run of dates through July and August, The Blinders are set to embark on another huge tour this month. The 12 date tour sees the fast-rising Manchester rock band travel up and down the UK, stopping off at iconic venues such as London’s Electric Ballroom and Manchester’s Albert Hall, from Glasgow to Southsea. All dates and tickets here.

The past 2 months have seen The Blinders return to the stage with their electric live performances and their first shows since December 2019, using those shows to introduce fans to their new lineup which sees their sound come to life. Vocalist and guitarist Thomas Haywood and bassist Charlie McGough are now joined by second guitarist Eoghan Clifford, drummer Thomas Castrey and Johnny James Berry on the keys.

The involvement of additional musicians is something that the band explored upon their limited edition live album, The Lounge Lizard Session, which the band released earlier this year. The Lounge Lizard Session features a collection of rearranged compositions which find themselves more suited to intimate performances, evolved from a series of stripped back shows.

The Lounge Lizard Session follows on from the release of The Blinders’ second album, Fantasies Of A Stay At Home Psychopath, which was released to widespread acclaim last year. With more new music on the horizon before the year is out, The post punks look to make 2021 their year.
