Premiered by Anni Mac on BBC 1 yesterday night, Ten Tonnes today returns with his brand new single Go. The new song is also the second single to be be lifted from his brand new EP So Long which is today (July 1st) via Silver Heart Records. Listen the EP in its entirety below.

Ten Tonnes is the moniker of Hertfordshire singer-songwriter Ethan Barnett, younger brother to George Ezra. For his new EP, he worked with Jag Jago (The Maccabees, The Magic Gang, Matt Maltese) and continues where his self-titled debut album (released 2019) left off.

Following the success of his debut album, he has worked with the likes of Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and ex-The Maccabees guitarist Hugo White certainly whose influence is evident from the sound of singles Go and Everything You Got.

Speaking about the So Long EP he commented:

I wrote and co-produced all the songs from my little home studio setup and I’ve loved the process of working on it from initial idea to demo to finished song. I wanted it to feel reflective and evocative even just in the title. I’ve also felt more comfortable in my newer stuff to write more openly about my mental health. I hope people dig the EP, I’ve absolutely loved making it.

So Long is out now via Silver Heat Records and is available on all digital platforms.
