Elodie is the latest single by pop duo TEN FÉ released on Bad Life (Petite Noir, Mai Kino, Attaque, Whitey) and follows on from previous singles In The Air and Make Me Better. The band now share a video for this beautiful ballad.
Elodie offers 5 minutes of heartwarming pop goodness. The track is thoroughly produced and yet, TEN FÉ keep it simple with this mellow 80s inspired love song.
The video was filmed during a packed-out set at this year’s Fireworks festival, Paris with Public Access T.V., Oh Wonder, Hinds, C Duncan, La Priest and Baio. Collaborators Silent Tapes Films caught them on the bustling streets of Pigalle. The mellow delivery set amongst the hectic seedy Parisian nightlife coincides quite vividly with those early inspirations.
TEN FÉ are Ben & Leo who currently reside in London. In 2013 their debut single Time was received with critical acclaim. A successful EP release followed and the pair were subsequently invited to record a session for the BBC at the legendary Maida Vale studios. Shortly after the duo set off for Berlin to begin work on their debut album alongside Ewan Pearson (Jagwar Ma, M83, The Rapture). We look forward to hearing the full thing eventually.
TEN FÉ will play several UK and European festivals including The Great Escape in Brighton and Trafalgar Festival, Spain in July with Everything Everything, Circa Waves, Damien Jurado and Crystal Fighters with many more to be announced.
