Sundara Karma Feat. Marika Hackman drop new single Prisons to Purify

Sundara Karma met in school and have gone the usual road from figuring out cover versions to writing their own music. This past year they have already supported the likes of Swim Deep, Darlia, Circa Waves and The Wombats and played a bunch of festivals.

They have released two EPs this year, aptly titled EP I and EP II, the latter of which was released on Nov 6th.

Prisons To Purify is taken from EP II and features singer-songwriter Marika Hackman. The track is remarkable on many levels. Running just over 6 minutes, Prisons To Purify captivates with an anthemic build up and vocals well beyond both singers’ years.

“It’s a song about being in a relationship where you need to go to complete extremes to find closure.” Explains Oscar (Vocals). “A willingness to find solace in hardship and a disposition to cleanse boundaries.”

Having just finished their recent headline tour, Sundara Karma will be touring the UK once again in February/March. Tour dates can be found below.
