With the release of their debut album Try Not To Freak Out eminent, Sløtface have given Lorde’s Supercut a pop punk makeover for Aussie radio station Triple J and their Like A Version session. Taken from Lorde’s new album Melodrama, Sløtface’s version sounds like the track was made for guitars. Watch below.

Sløtface have made themselves a name across the blogosphere these past few months after they changed their name from Slutface to Sløtface because they were frequently flagged as spam on social media.

Their fresh pop punk, while not explicitly gendered, often dismantles patriarchal structures and is a whole lot of fun to listen to. Their sound is remeniscent of contemporary bands such as Best Coast or Bleached but also draws inspiration from Blondie among others.

Sløtface will tour Europe and the UK this fall. Dates can be found below.
